BARNERT TEMPLE PRESENTS AN EVENING WITH SHMUEL ROSNER
SUNDAY, MARCH 15 AT 7:30 PM
Barnert Temple’s Israel Action Committee presents an evening with Israeli blogger and journalist Shmuel Rosner on Sunday, March 15, at 7:30 pm. The subject of Rosner’s presentation is “Politics and Realties for a New American Administration and New Israeli Government in the Aftermath of the Gaza War.”
“After the Gaza war, the Middle East faces a new political reality,” commented Bill Frechtman, chair of the Israel Action Committee. “We’re all wondering how the new American administration and new Israeli government will deal with the old questions that continue to face the Middle East.”
Tel Aviv-based columnist, blogger and commentator Shmuel Rosner will provide his insight and observations as two new political leaderships deal with age-old issues in Israel and the greater Middle East. He’ll address such issues as who won and who lost in the Gaza War, how will Israel and the US advance the Israeli-Palestinian peace process, will they turn to the Syrian track, what will they do with Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and will they stop the threat from Iran's nuclear program.
The charge for this program is $18 per adult; children and teens are free. Light refreshments and an opportunity to meet Mr. Rosner will follow the event. Barnert Temple is located at 747 Route 208 South, Franklin Lakes, NJ. For more information about the event or about joining Barnert Temple, contact Alice Kintisch, membership liaison, at (201) 848-1800.
