Yom Kippur Self-Help Follow-Up!
As happens each year, our Yom Kippur "sin cards" stimulated much thought. Rabbi Frishman promised a list of books that might respond to some of the concerns shared by congregants, including:
"Why can't my spouse be on time?
"We just seem wired so differently..."
"I'm so frustrated with my elderly parents."
"I think I/my family members might have a substance abuse/gambling problem."
Click the above link for a list of books and resources that may help you address these concerns and issues, as well as others.
If you are experiencing financial challenges, please let us know so that we can either connect you to our employment network, or at the least, ease your Barnert financial commitment. If you need any confidential guidance towards finding a therapist, please contact Rabbi Frishman at rabbifrish@barnerttemple.org. |
