Our Networking meetings will continue to be held throughout the summer. General networking will begin at 6:30 pm and the formal meeting will begin at 7 pm.

The typical format for meetings will be a brief agenda review and a recap of nearby networking events. We will then take about 30 mins. For introductions. This elevator pitch gives us a sense of who you are, what you bring to the group, and what you need from the group. Introductions are usually followed to discussions and Q&A. We always leave time at the end of the meeting for open networking — we get to know everyone!

Whether you are in transition/job search mode, or are currently employed and can offer assistance, we encourage you to participate.

The Barnert Networking Group
Who We Are & What We Do
Barnert Temple has established the Barnert Networking Group to assist members of the Temple community who are in career transition and/or those looking to expand their network by sharing contacts, information, resources, support and encouragement. We want to help our members develop and implement the networking skills necessary to navigate the current job market. We want to help you by connecting you to:
- Others in our Community who can provide networking contacts in your industry or profession
- Others in our Community who can share their experiences, challenges and success during a job search
- Career counselors, mental health professionals or external networking groups that may benefit you
The main forum for our connections will be based on the professional networking Web site, Linkedin. Linkedin is a simple way for us to connect and help each other. This group is designed for people looking to make meaningful business contacts across all functions and industries.
